Spreading a little Christmas Magic!

Lizie’s Trees 4 Needs was founded by me (Lizie) when I was in the 2nd grade. I wrote, drew and shared my ideas, as you can see to the left, and asked for some help. That’s how it all began. We started by asking our community for donations, which we used to purchase Christmas trees, stars, boxes of ornaments, and even the hooks to hang them up. Afterwards, we spoke to the guidance counselor at my school to identify families in need of Christmas trees. The guidance counselor reached out to a few families and informed us of the number of Christmas sets needed. That year, we blessed  five families. The following year, we doubled our efforts and provided ten Christmas sets. We then expanded to other elementary schools in Collier County. One year, a middle school teacher even got her class involved in raising money for Lizie’s Trees 4 Needs! As of 2024 we are officially a non-profit organization and we are working on developing a partnership with Walmart and any further companies that are willing to help us out.

We reach out to our community and collect donations,  afterwards we purchase as many Christmas sets as we can. Then we reach out to Collier County school counselors and see how many families could use a Christmas tree and we hand them out about a week before Christmas break.
